Important Information
- PPE Requirements:
Please bring your own PPE, including high-visibility clothing, closed-in safety boots, safety glasses and a hard hat.
Limited hard hats and high-vis vests will be available on site if required. - Site Capacity:
On site meeting capacity is limited to 18 participants. The mine tour is also limited to 15 participants, so early confirmation is recommended. - Travel & Safety:
Approximate driving times to Vickery Mine:- Singleton: ~3 hours
- Maitland: ~3 hours 40 minutes
- Newcastle: ~4 hours 10 minutes
To ensure everyone’s safety and avoid fatigue-related risks, we strongly encourage attendees to consider making this a two-day trip and staying overnight locally where possible. Please travel safely and ensure you take regular breaks to manage fatigue while driving.
